The wonderful people at Cargo Cosmetics blessed me with their Essential Palette and it just so happens I had already gotten a deal on one for myself. So that's right, I am giving it away. This will be my first official giveaway on the blog. I think that this a great gift to start off with because it really is a beauty essential.
First off I am having trouble even finding a picture of the shadows that captures the actually color. Even pictures I took made the colors all look matte, so I had to steal someones swatch picture online. (Sorry, hehe)
The four neutral colors included are Bone, Camel, Latte and Raw Sienna. The compact, like most of their products, has a very modern look. Inside the compact is a little clear card that gives you basic instructions on how to use the colors for a smokey look. Easy for anyone to use, no matter your skill level. I also found that it works great when you get it wet. I have never been too big on using wet/dry shadow, but I was pretty impressed.
Just to give you a little of my own opinion, I fell in love with Cargo eyeshadow the first time I used it. It goes on a little smoother than any other shadow, which makes it perfect when your blending. Just a slight difference in texture can make a big difference in the way your shadow looks. I know who ever wins this will love it as much as I do.
The contest will be open for one week starting today. (August 24th) It will end at midnight on August 31st. I will announce the winner of Cargo's Essential Palette on September 1st!

Why I am here
Since I was younger I have always enjoyed 2 things, Makeup and writing, more than anything else. For the longest time, I assumed that there wasn’t much of a future in Makeup. Now, that I am getting older I am realizing that possibilities really are limitless. So here I am starting a blog about Makeup. There are a lot of people out there that have no knowledge of makeup or how to use it. That is where I want to come in. I have been giving makeup tips and lessons to friends and family since I got my first compact and eye liner. I also want to spend most of my time on product reviews. I have a feeling there are a lot of women out there, like me, who spend tons of money every year on cosmetics. Time and time again, I buy the newest product on the line, only to be disappointed. Then I thought, how nice would it be to have someone who will test these new products and give an unbiased review. Well, who better than me?
